“Bathroom Renovation”
Bathroom renovations are a great way to increase the re-sell value of your home. Whether its an extensive update or a simple face-lift, both can bring you potential R.O.I (Return on Investment). When buying, people do pay close attention to the bathrooms. These two bland (and identical) bathrooms needed a face-lift to match the rest of the newly renovated basement. One ensuite bathroom in a private extra bedroom and the other in the hallway shared by all guests.
By removing the generic prefab sink cabinets, plain faucets, and one piece laminate countertop and shelf; and replacing them with two beautifully custom crafted sink cabinets with marble tops and oil bronzed faucets, (each with its own unique details) an immediate improvement was made. To further impact the space removing the oversized mirrors and hanging ones more appropriately scaled to the new cabinets and matching in a similar stain. Changing out the low cost bathroom vanity lights sold by most big box stores, for a better quality and a more appealing fixture. An easy D.I.Y when plumbing and electrical lighting positions remained the same, a simple face-lift gave these two bathrooms the wow factor buyers would now notice.
